JOHNNY DORIS – APRIL KEANE FAMILY CHALLENGE!

May we express our sincere gratitude to Johnny Doris, Portarlington, Co. Laois, to Mags Keane, Carrigaholt, and the extended Keane family for the marvellous sum of €2,106.00 raised for the West Clare Cancer Centre on foot of Johnny’s ‘Keane Family Challenge’ which ran for the month of April. These people – the cultivators of altruism and the embodiment of compassion, covered a combined distance of over 5,000 kilometres, the approximate distance from Carrigaholt to San Fransisco, in their bid to raise funds for the West Clare Cancer Centre here in Kilkee. Phenomenal is too insufficient a word to describe their achievement – thanks is too small a word to proffer. Heroes all – we salute you!
