Michael O’Shea passed away on August 21st 2018 after losing his battle with cancer. Michael was 38 years old when he passed away and he left behind him his wife, a young toddler daughter, as well as his parents, sister, brother and extended family and friends. His untimely passing shocked and devastated everyone in football circles throughout Clare and indeed throughout Ireland.
Michael’s club, St Senan’s Kilkee, who he represented with such distinction for so many years, will host a Senior inter-county football challenge match between Clare and Galway on Saturday April 25th in Kilkee in memory of Michael who also starred for Clare for many years. All funds raised will go to the West Clare Cancer Centre in Kilkee, and Regina House Palliative Care, Kilrush.
