GOLDILOCKS WENT SHORTILOCKS AND RASIED €862.00 FOR THE WEST CLARE CANCER CENTRE!!!!!

A modern twist on a classic fairytale, cool school kid, Caoimhe “Goldilocks” McNamara, took the plunge and went “Shortilocks” on Sunday 15th July last, when she donated her beautiful tresses to the Rapunzel Foundation who make hair pieces for sick children. The astonishing sum of €862.00 was raised on the day, all of which was donated to the West Clare Mini Marathon Cancer Care Centre here in Kilkee.
Sincere thanks also to Caoimhe’s mam Yvonne McNamara and family. A most courageous, altruistic act indeed, performed by our little lion-hearted warrior princess!
