WEST CLARE CANCER CENTRE 8K WALK/RUN

The 28th Annual West Clare Cancer Centre 8K Walk & Run takes place on

Sunday, 25th January 2026

along the scenic Wild Atlantic Way.

All funds raised go directly to supporting cancer patients and their families in West Clare.

Please note that medals and tops are not provided, as every euro is dedicated solely to this cause. Your support makes a real difference!

This is a non-chipped event, but an official starting line will be in place on the day.

• Walkers will meet at the Kilkee Community Centre at 12.00pm and depart at 1 pm for the walk.
• Runners should meet in the Community Centre at 1 pm and leave at 1.30 pm for the run.

We will travel out the Carrigaholt road and along the coast road back down by Dunlicky and finish back at the Community Centre Kilkee. (Route will be signposted on the day.)

We would like to invite individuals to register online before attending the event. Children above the age of 16 may participate, while children under the age of 16 are not covered by insurance and therefore they take part at their own risk. Step 1 – Register and pay €20 per person (€5 for kids under 12 years). You can pay with your credit/debit card.

Step 2 – After successful registration and payment you will receive a confirmation email. In this email is a link to download your ticket.

Step 3 – Bring a printed copy of the ticket with you to the Kilkee Community Centre on the 26th January, where we will scan the QR code on your ticket and give you your Bib Number(s)
