The 13th annual Gortglass Christmas Day Swim raised €4,745.00 for the West Clare Cancer Centre in Kilkee. This is a fantastic accomplishment and huge thanks indeed to to John O’Connell, Clonkerry, Labasheeda and event organisers and participants. The group so far have raised in excess of €70,000.00 for cancer care services in West Clare – a truly tremendous achievement by local people in a small, West Clare community.
